My Go To Wellness was created from a passion for helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more confident through practical support that fits real life.
I know that wellbeing isn't always straightforward. Life changes, busy schedules, health concerns, menopause, work pressures, and everyday responsibilities can often make it difficult to prioritise your health. That's why my approach focuses on meeting you where you are and helping you take positive steps forward in a way that feels realistic, supportive, and achievable.

When you work with My Go To Wellness, you're working directly with me. There is no large team, no complicated systems, and no one-size-fits-all approach. Just honest guidance, practical solutions, and ongoing support designed to help you move forward with confidence.
Whether you prefer the convenience of mobile training in your own home, online support, or in-person sessions at Ladywood Leisure Centre or Northfield Leisure Centre, I aim to make wellbeing support accessible, flexible, and tailored to your lifestyle.
My goal is simple: to create a welcoming, supportive environment where people feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes that support their long-term health and wellbeing.

My Story & Why I Started My Go To Wellness
In 2009, I began working on health improvement programmes across Birmingham, the Black Country, and the Midlands through organisations commissioned to deliver public health initiatives. My work focused on supporting individuals and communities to make meaningful lifestyle changes through education, awareness, and practical support.

Through this work, I witnessed first-hand the positive impact that education, encouragement, and the right support can have on people's lives. It taught me that meaningful change isn't about perfection, it's about having the confidence, knowledge, and support to take the next step forward.
Alongside my work in health improvement and wellbeing, my own love of movement was growing. In 2012, I discovered pole fitness and quickly developed a passion for movement, strength, and self-confidence. In 2013, I became a certified SO Dancehall Fitness Instructor, and by 2014, I was teaching pole fitness classes and supporting others on their own fitness journeys.
What started as a personal passion soon became a professional calling.
In 2018, I qualified as a Personal Trainer and have continued to expand my knowledge ever since, gaining experience and qualifications across personal training, Pilates, group fitness, sports conditioning, dance fitness, twerk, cardio tennis, pole fitness, pole fabrics, lollipop, and menopause wellness support.
Throughout my career, one thing has remained constant: my desire to help people feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in themselves.
The inspiration behind My Go To Wellness comes from a combination of passion, personal experience, and loss.
Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about helping people improve their health, wellbeing, and quality of life. Supporting others to make positive lifestyle changes has been at the heart of everything I have done, both professionally and personally.
In 2016, I lost my mother to bowel cancer. Her loss had a profound impact on me and reinforced my belief in the importance of health education, prevention, and compassionate support. It reminded me how valuable it is to have guidance, encouragement, and someone in your corner during life's most challenging moments.
Years later, in 2023, I underwent a total hysterectomy and bilateral oophorectomy, entering surgical menopause almost overnight. Experiencing the physical, emotional, and lifestyle changes that followed gave me a much deeper understanding of the challenges many women face when navigating menopause and significant life transitions.
These experiences didn't define me, but they shaped me.
They strengthened my commitment to creating a supportive space where people feel heard, understood, and empowered to take positive steps towards their health and wellbeing.
My Go To Wellness was born from that commitment bringing together my professional experience, personal journey, and passion for helping others feel stronger, healthier, and more confident, no matter where life finds them.
